Radio Nasha is India’s first ‘Cool Retro’ station! It is a destination station where listeners tune in and then don’t tune out. Nasha Premiere Nights is a flagship property of Radio Nasha where the magic of classics of 70s, 80s, and 90s is brought back to the silver screen. In both Delhi and Mumbai, in the last two years, films like ‘Silsila’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Disco Dancer’, ‘Don’, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and many others have been screened.

On 12th May 2018, to celebrate 30 years of ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, Radio Nasha, in association with Shemaroo Entertainment, screened the movie with the cast at Matterden Carnival Cinema in Mumbai. The screening was a grand affair and was attended by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, Nuzhat Khan, Dalip Tahil, Anand-Milind, Raj Zutshi, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and the crew.

Radio Nasha Delhi conducted a special contest where 10 lucky winners won an all-expense-paid trip to Mumbai to watch the movie alongside the cast and crew. In Mumbai, lucky Radio Nasha listeners won golden passes for the exclusive screening.

The screening was preceded by a red carpet interaction with RJ Anmol who hosts the show ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’. After the screening, the complete cast interacted with Radio Nasha and spoke to RJ Rohini (the host of Jhakkas Mornings in Radio Nasha Mumbai) about their special moments from the film and gave out behind the screen stories.

On this occasion, Mr. Harshad Jain, CEO – Radio and Entertainment, HT Media Ltd., commented, “With Radio Nasha we always strive to take our listeners for a nostalgic trip down the memory lane. Nasha Premier Nights is one such initiative for us where we strive to bring the best movies from the eras of 70s, 80s and 90s back to the silver screen. Through the screening of ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ with Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan and the cast we tried to give our listeners a ‘money can’t buy’ experience. We are thrilled at the response we received from the listeners as well as the star cast for this initiative. Nasha Premiere Nights is one of our flagship properties and we will continue to host screenings across both our stations to stand true to our promise of a “Cool Retro” experience. ”
