Sameer Anjaan, the Guinness world record holder for writing the maximum number of songs, has proved his mettle by writing songs for films like ‘Dil’ and ‘Aashiqui’ in 1990. He embarked his rein by writing super-hit songs such as ‘Saanson ki zarurat’ (Aashiqui), ‘Ladki badi anjaani hai’ (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), ‘Ole Ole’ (Yeh Dillagi), ‘Main Yahan Tu Wahan’ (Baghban), ‘Crazy Kiya Re’ (Dhoom 2),’Char Baj Gaye’ (FALTU) amongst many many others .
The record breaking lyricist is also an RJ with Radio Nasha and is now hosting season2 of the weekend show, Safarnama with Sameer Anjaan.
The 3500 songs in 600 films have a myriad of untold stories. In season 2 of his show, Sameer Anjaan is accompanied by many famed singers and music directors of his era such as Anu Malik, Alka Yagnik, and Abhijeet amongst others. In his show he will not only narrate the many untold stories behind the songs sung by these artists, he will also reveal secrets of these artists as well.
